Satan Hates You With A Passion

08 Jul

Who is Satan?

A guy in a red suit?
A radical fallen angel who just likes to have a good time and party?
A creation of God who decided, “I just got to be me!?”

Jesus had this to say about Satan to the Jews who were rejecting him.

John 8:44 – 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Humans can’t even hold a candle to Satan when it becomes to being evil.  They are only students of the most infamous murderer of all.

Joseph Stalin, Russian leader between the late 1920’s until his death of 1953, had around 60 million people die while under his leadership.  It is estimated that 20 million of those were killed by repression, famine, etc.  Others died in war figured around 20 million.  The numbers drastically fluctuate, but as you can see he still ranks in the tops of all time as a lethal guy to be under.

Mao Zedong (tse-tung), leader of China in 1943-1976.  He was known as the leader that had more deaths in peace time than any other ruler.  Estimates run between 40-70 million people.

Then there is the infamous Adolf Hitler.  Holocaust is responsible for 11-14 million lives.  Six Million Jews exterminated.  Why is Hitler possibly the most evil dictator?  He used Genocide to kill people.  He wasn’t just killing to remain in power but exterminating certain groups.  He is responsible for World War II that cost 56 million lives.

Plenty of groups such as the Scythians and Barbarians in the past brutally mutilated or tortured people.  They couldn’t think of worse ways to treat and destroy people.

Why do I say all this?  Because their father Satan, puts them all to shame.  Here’s another one for you.  Satan hates them too.  He doesn’t know how to love.  There are Satanist out there committed to him and he hates them too.  Ironic when you think about.  Normally when you give up yourself to anyone, you want to be loved back.

Peter warns us about the Devil in 1 Peter 5:8 –  8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

In the last three and half years of the Tribulation that comes upon the world that we read about in Revelation, Satan loses a war and is cast down from Heaven.
Revelation 12:7-8 – 7And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

It says in Revelation 12:12 that Satan is full of fury because his time is short.
    12Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
   He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”

The 3 and half year mark is when the Antichrist is fatally wounded.  He is miraculously raised  from the dead.  That’ s because Satan incarnates him and now demands to be worshipped as God.  The false Prophet, who is of Satan, makes an Image of him and demands that it be worshipped.  If people do not, they are killed.  Also he causes all to have the Mark of the Beast or they are unable to buy or sell.  Once again if people don’t they will be killed.
Revelations 13:11-18 – 11Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. 12He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.  18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.

Satan obviously goes immediately after the Jews and the new Christians that have now converted after the rapture.  He does this because both groups remind him of Jesus.  However, in Revelation 17, he goes after the great prostitute.  I believe the great prostitute is the one world church that you already see the spirit of now on this Earth.  Once Christians are gone the world religions are going to form one big happy family and the only taboo is intolerance.  That’s another post though.  The point is for the first half of the tribulation it says she rides the beast.  It’s a major player in the last days.  In Revelation 17:16 Satan and his current kingdom will now turn on the great prostitute and kill them.  16The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

Starting to see a theme here?  Satan now wants to be worshipped in the last days.  Right now it’s just fine if you believe whatever you want as long as it isn’t worshipping Jesus Christ, but that will change and he will demand to be worshipped in the last days.  The people that won’t, he will want them to die.  However, hopefully when they do it’s for Christ.

Before Satan is done he will kill Millions.  New Christians.  Jews.  anybody that doesn’t worship him or the take the Mark of the Beast.

He is a LYING MURDERER and he has been taken way too lightly in our generation.

So right now, who do you want to serve?  Here are two characters.

Character A -Helped create you.  Came to Earth and died in your place for your sins.  Stands in front of God and intercedes for you.

Character B-  Someone who hates you.  He wants disaster in your life and the more the better.  Would love to inflict pain on you.  Take away any joy you have.  One who stands in front of God and accuses you of all your wrongdoings.

Who will you serve?  Yourself?  No one?  Whomever I choose?

If that’s your answer, you didn’t come up with it first.  Satan beat you to it.

John 10:7-10 New King James Version –  7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The thief is Satan.  Please, if you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Savior do so now.  There is a page that will help you do so in right column.  You can be saved and escape the wrath that is to come.

The Importance Of The Sabbath

05 Jul

I just got done doing a draft on The Law And Jesus Christ.  That prompted me to do this story.  I never know when I’m actually going to post them or which one will be first.

Many people think that the Ten Commandments are a guidance of the Old Testament.  Once Jesus came that we no longer have to worry about the legalism of the Ten Commandments.

Matthew 5:17 –  17“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Paul reminds us that we are saved by grace.  We are saved by the blood of Jesus.  This is a fact and Christians today are all about the grace and then I’m free to do what I want.

That’s not how were supposed to live.  There is nothing in the Ten Commandments that we shouldn’t be doing today in our lives.  The number one that comes up is observing the Sabbath.  That is what I want to write on today.

What is important about the Sabbath?  It is suppose to be a day of rest.  During this day of rest we are to recognize and meditate on the Lord.

You don’t think we need that in the hustle and bustle of today.  We’re so busy that most people won’t even give 60 seconds of their day to the Lord.  People are so busy today that they want to spend their weekend on relaxing for themselves.  Yet they have no time for God.

You want to know why you need to go to Church?  You’re doing something for God.  Something you need for yourself also, but something for God.

If you’re honest with yourself, you can’t possibly be excited to stand in front of God if you have done nothing with Him, for Him, talked with Him, or sought Him.

Don’t finish your life and feel this way when standing in front of the most important Person in the universe that you were suppose to have a relationship with.

By having Jesus as Savior we don’t have the legalistic part of the law, but we need to obey it.  Jesus was upset with the teachers of the Law and other religious Jews concerning the Sabbath.  Why?  Because they got upset with Him, when he was healing on the Sabbath.  Jesus was doing God’s will on the Sabbath.  We need to rest and give more time to God.  It doesn’t have to be legalistic.  That is the importance of the observing the Sabbath.

If you’re Satan- How Do You Confuse Them?

16 May

If you’re Satan and you are at war with God and want to be like the most high, how do you get man to turn his back on God?

Man is already a fallen rebellious creature, because he listened to the serpent (Satan) in the Garden of Eden.

If you’re Satan and you tell him not to worship God, he’s probably defiant enough that he will.  If you tell man to worship you, he’s defiant enough he won’t.

So what do you do?

For a start, how about give him lots of choices?

Worship the sun, moon, stars, idols, yourself, false religions, anything…….but the one true God.

Imagine taking a white ping pong ball and throwing it into bathtub full of yellow ping pong balls.  Now stir up the balls.

Now a lot of people are going to look at the tub and say “Wow, that’s a lot of ping pong balls.  Do I really want to take the time to look for the white ping pong ball?  When I find the white one, is it really any different than this yellow one I like over here?  Who’s to say the white one is the right one anyway?  By the way, what am I doing at this tub in the first place?  It’s down-right confusing and who’s to say I need a ping pong ball?  I’m a grown up, I don’t need no stinking ping pong ball.  Ping pong balls are for the weak which need to play with their toys and I don’t need that.”

Does this analogy ring a bell?  I think it does.  It was a lot of fun to write too.

You see Satan isn’t stupid, he’s evil!  He’s gotten to know man pretty good after six thousand years.

Now if someone wanted to, they could bend down with the light on and look through the balls and spot the white one really easy.

So how did such an easy thing such as man falling, Jesus dies to pay the debt, you accept him as Lord, and your back with God again, get so complicated?

Satan’s been working hard that’s why.  Look at that paragraph on the ping pong balls again.  It does make your head swim.  Some people out there aren’t looking for the white ball (Jesus), but many are and it is confusing.

Can you help them?  Do you yourself know why you believe what you do?  Can you help others that are confused?  Because they need questions answered!  We need to study the word and build a foundation so we can.

The next question is, will you?

John 21:17 – 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”

    Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

A King’s Example On How To Serve Others

13 May

John 13:5 – 5After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

On the night that Jesus was going to be betrayed and was just finishing His meal at The Last Supper, he told his disciples He was going to wash their feet.  Of course this was unexpected as these men had been with Jesus for three years and He was their Lord.  Peter even stated that Jesus should not have to wash his feet.

Jesus however was explaining to them something that was two-fold.

First, you need to have your sins washed of Me or you can’t be a part of Me.

John 13:7-8 –   7Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
8“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

Since Jesus had not yet died, the whole being washed by the blood idea was foreign to them.  Jesus knew in the future that it would make sense to them as he stated in verse 7.

Second, Jesus was teaching us how to be a humble servant.

John 13:14-17 – 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

If our King can wash feet, we can wash feet.

How does that pertain in today’s world?   Here’s a thought and question for you.

Two men are participating in two different jobs.

The first man works his tail off and becomes a big company executive.  Even though he worked hard some other people had to be sacrificed along the way.  He acquires wealth.  Has multiple homes or a mansion.  Has the ability to travel anywhere in the world and can buy anything he wants to buy.  Many people in the world would state this is quite a success story.

The second man wanting to serve the Lord feels a calling from God to be a missionary.  He goes over where he sleeps in a hot muggy hut.  The food is challenging but he feels blessed to have food since people in nearby villages don’t have hardly any.  He lives to share the gospel to others so they may be able to pass it on to others.  Also should they die they have a chance to be in Heaven with the Lord.  The bugs and other creatures are a little more out of the norm than he’s used to and the medical facilities are almost non-existent.

Who is living more like the King who washes our feet?  Who is dying to self in this example?

2 Corinthians 5:17 – 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Which of the two men do you look up to?  The one who sacrifices comfort and tries to pass on God’s love to others, or the one who serves himself?

This scripture I think describes the situation for both men.

Matthew 6:19-21 – 19“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I believe this scripture will be in many of my posts, as I feel in this generation, we need to hear it and be reminded of it on a regular basis.

Jesus washed his disciple’s feet, as an example of how we are to treat others.  John 13:17- 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

It Matters To God

22 Apr

Many of my friends around the office get this one from me in different forms, but it’s a fact.

It matters.  It matters to God!

What matters?  Everything Matters!

Are you saying that if I decide to watch a baseball game or if I want to go shopping it matters?  Yes.  It matters.  If your watching baseball everyday and giving no time to your family and especially no time to God and Jesus.  It matters!  If you’re out spending money you don’t have, if it takes your time away from your family all the time, or your spending your tithe on shopping.  It matters!

Now on the flip side.  If you like to shop and you’re being responsible, it just happens to be what you like to do in your special down time, you’re being a good steward of what God has entrusted you with.  It matters.  God wants you to enjoy yourself.  Same with sports.  As long as it doesn’t become you’re God and take your time away from him or your responsiblities, it matters.

God made you to have relationship and worship him.  He also made you to enjoy activities.  He made you to enjoy fellowship with each other.  The fact you like to golf, horses, or something else doesn’t mean it comes from the devil.  He made you to enjoy those things.  However, when they become your number one or first love, it matters.

God allows you to think on your own.  We want our children to think on their own.  What happens when they think on their own and it isn’t good thinking.  Well one example could be this.

Don’t fill up the bathtub full of water and jump in it with an electrical appliance plugged in.
Why?  It’s just a matter of choice, isn’t it?  We all do things differently, right?
Wrong!  We don’t want them to do this obviously because it will kill them.

God is warning us throughout his Word that we can’t do certain things or they are either going to physically kill us, like many of the scriptures in the Old Testament he gave to the Jews.  He has given us many times more of those things that will keep us from dying spiritually.  He doesn’t want us to die spiritually.  It matters!

It mattered enough, that after Adam and Eve decided to turn away from Him, He chose to have His Son come down and die in our place.

He didn’t have to do that.  But, YOU matter!  And what you do matters.

The next time you choose to lie to someone, it matters.  The next time you help someone, it matters.  The next time you tell someone about Jesus, who He is, and what He has done for all of us, it really matters.

If you choose not to accept the Lord before you die, I’m afraid it’s going to be the only thing that matters.  Don’t miss the most important decision you need to make in your life.

If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Savior, please do so now.  If you are wondering why I need a Savior, I have wrote an outline the best I could and condensed it  down for you.  You need another reason?  You’re not in control of your life on earth.  Someone can drive over the center line and in one second your dead.  Someone can be walking down the street and bang, your dead.

If you want to say a prayer and accept the Lord, I have put a page in the right hand upper column to help you start a new relationship with your Loving Creator.

Explaining End Time Propehcey Odds

20 Apr

There are many end time prophecies that are in the works and coming together in our lifetime.  Either they have happened in the last 60 or so years, or they are forming undeniably right before our very eyes.

This post isn’t to explain what those are.  Those will be done one at a time in other posts.  My goal is to show you the astronomical odds that all these things are happening at once.  When you realize the odds, it will take faith to not believe it’s the end times were living in.

So let’s get started with odds using them in other human interest things.  First let’s address the guys.

A book comes along and claims it’s the complete truth of the world.  Within the book it claims that the reason you know you can trust this is because it will predict all the champions in all the major sports in America during one particular year.  Actually, I have to tell you the example of just the America teams, doesn’t even begin to really reveal the true odds, but you’ll get the point.

Now these predictions were made back before some of these teams were even in existence.  These predictions are made by writers from different time periods that didn’t personally know each other.  That’s another set of odds all entirely that I won’t go into which may be even more impressive.

So we don’t know the year these predictions are going to happen.  But many other predictions by these same writers in the book have already come to pass, so they have our attention.

We know that the predictions can’t come to pass just yet, because there is still one team that wins Read the rest of this entry »
